Product Review: Whoa Dog
by Dan Fischer
as featured in the June 2008 issue of Retriever News
The first product we tested was the
adult check cord. The cord measures 30 feet in length. We
had it in the field for hours, and it didn't collect snow or water and
it stayed flexible even in the coldest of weather. The bright
orange one we used was very easy to find in the high vegetation.
The standard leash that Whoa Dog
produces measures 5 feet in length. It is a very nice leash and I
own three of them. However, I cut the handle and the ring off of
it because I don't like that it gets tangled in the dog's feet.
This is simply my personal choice for training.
The traffic lead is very small and fits
in a very small pocket of a jacket or your back pocket. This lead
can be put on the dog when brining him to the line or blind.
I would rank these products among the
top three best that I've used and will use it continuously.
